Mercy is a verdict.
In the imagery of Ezekiel, Daniel, and Revelation, there are functioning judiciary courts. Cases are heard. Rulings are handed down. And the verdict over a humble, repentant soul is always the same — mercy, extended freely by the grace of God to mankind.
Most of us were never told this realm exists. We knew heaven. We knew hell. But the depth of what God has made accessible — the grace, the favor, the truth available at His throne — was never explicitly explained to us. The Mercy Court was created to help us tap into that grace, open the door. (Matthew 7:7)
